2. APPLICATION OF THESE TERMS
These Terms apply to sales made by MaskOryx to consumers through the website.
By confirming an order, the customer acknowledges having had the opportunity to read these Terms before purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection granted by applicable law.
3. PRODUCTS
The essential characteristics of each product are presented on the relevant product page.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the description, photographs, options and other product information before placing an order.
Certain products may be hand-finished or individually prepared. Minor manufacturing variations may therefore occur.
Such variations do not affect statutory rights where a product is defective or does not conform to its description.
4. PRICES
Prices are displayed on the website in the currency applicable to the customer's market.
The total price payable before confirmation of the order includes the product price and any shipping charges or other amounts collected directly by MaskOryx.
French consumer rules require prices and additional charges to be communicated before the contract is concluded.
MaskOryx currently benefits from the French franchise en base de TVA regime.
Accordingly, where applicable:
TVA non applicable, article 293 B du Code général des impôts.
5. ORDER PROCESS
The customer selects the desired products and adds them to the shopping cart.
Before confirming the order, the customer can review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and total price.
The customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information entered.
The order becomes final after the customer completes checkout and payment is successfully authorised.
An electronic order confirmation is then sent to the customer.
6. PAYMENT
The payment methods available for an order are displayed during checkout.
Payment may be processed by Shopify Payments or another payment provider made available through the website.
The customer guarantees that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.
7. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Products are offered subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, MaskOryx will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Where the order cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount will be refunded.
8. ORDER PREPARATION
Most products require approximately 2–3 business days of preparation prior to dispatch.
Preparation time may vary depending on the product or circumstances.
9. DELIVERY
Available delivery methods, destinations and shipping charges are displayed during checkout.
Estimated transportation time is generally approximately 7–15 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and method selected.
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Mandatory statutory rules relating to delivery remain applicable.
10. CUSTOMS AND IMPORT CHARGES
For international orders, customs formalities, import duties or local taxes may apply depending on the destination.
Where these amounts are not collected by MaskOryx during checkout, they may be requested by the relevant authority or carrier.
11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Where applicable, consumers benefit from a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
For goods, this period generally begins upon receipt of the goods.
The customer may exercise this right by sending an unambiguous statement to:
or by using the withdrawal functionality available on the website.
French law requires an online withdrawal functionality for contracts concluded online from June 19, 2026.
The detailed procedure is described in the Return & Refund Policy.
12. RETURN COSTS
When a customer exercises the right of withdrawal solely because they have changed their mind, return shipping costs are borne by the customer where permitted by applicable law.
For defective, incorrect or non-conforming products, statutory consumer rights apply.
13. REFUNDS FOLLOWING WITHDRAWAL
Following a valid withdrawal, MaskOryx will reimburse the sums required under applicable law.
The standard initial delivery cost is included where legally required.
Additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a delivery option more expensive than MaskOryx's standard option do not have to be reimbursed.
MaskOryx may defer reimbursement until the goods are recovered or the customer supplies evidence that they have sent them back.
14. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
Products sold by MaskOryx benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity under the conditions provided by applicable law.
For consumer goods, an action based on the legal guarantee of conformity is generally available for two years from delivery.
The consumer may be entitled, depending on the circumstances and applicable law, to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
MaskOryx remains responsible to the customer as the professional seller.
15. HIDDEN DEFECTS
The statutory guarantee against hidden defects also applies where its legal conditions are satisfied.
Nothing in these Terms limits these statutory rights.
16. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
If an order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect, the customer should contact:
The customer should provide the order number and, where reasonably possible, photographs or videos showing the issue.
17. ORDER CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES
Customers wishing to cancel or modify an order should contact MaskOryx as soon as possible.
Where preparation has not started, MaskOryx will attempt to accommodate the request.
Once preparation or shipment has begun, an immediate cancellation or modification may no longer be operationally possible.
This does not affect any mandatory statutory right of withdrawal.
